Project Lead - 2017

A mobile / tablet puzzle game where the player must wind a scene forwards and backwards through time, finding items required to alter specific moments and save a girl from dying. This was developed as a prototype for a theoretical larger product.

My role on this student project was as the Game Designer / Project Manager. My tasks included designing the narrative, puzzles, user experience, high-level environment layout, working with the programmer to design our technical systems and tools, and also managing the project Hack n' Plan to keep everything moving on schedule.

A 10 week major project for a Game Design course at AIE.

Solo Project - In Development

A first person exploration game set in dreams. It tells a story through environment design with no narrative text or dialogue. The player can move and fly through environments based on real world locations, collecting memories and solving puzzles to piece together the events.

I'm covering all aspects of development except art, where I am contracting artists to create custom assets.

Design and Programming - In Development

A house party simulator designed to be run on an idle computer or tablet at social events. Players can create a humanoid animal character and then send them off into the party, where an AI system handles the rest.

It is being developed with a team of four. Two artists, an animator, and I'm doing design and programming.

Full Metal Hustle

Designer - 2017

Full Metal Hustle is a small local multiplayer game for PC made in a 2.5 day game jam.

2 - 4 players compete for the highest score by grabbing items off a revolving conveyor belt. Some items are worth more than others, and some items are bad and will slow you down!

Supports 2 players on keyboard, or up to 4 players with keyboard/Xbox controllers.

Design Lead - 2016

Stratus Fighters is a 12-week student project created by a team of 1st year students at AIE Melbourne.

Take to the skies for high intensity combat in this local multiplayer sci-fi arena shooter. Choose one of four different airships then be unleashed on fantasy-esque landscapes where you will chase, boost, use powerups and outmaneuver your opponents to compete for the most points.
